Unparalleled quality of prosecution

Since Taiyo was founded in 1981, we have consistently provided the highest quality of prosecution representation, dynamically accommodating our clients' evolving needs.
We currently handle more than 3500domestic patent applications each year. Our team of more than 80 Japanese patent attorneys, applying drafting skills gleaned from years of experience, fine-tune our overseas clients' patent applications to place them in an optimal condition for filing in view of Japanese practice. Further, our expertise in responding to office actions from the Japan Patent Office is second to none.

At our Tokyo offices, our team also includes patent attorneys registered in the United States of America, the People's Republic of China, and the Republic of Korea, as well as a group of native English-speaking translators and editors, and we are thus fully equipped to provide an array of linguistic services. Our clients can communicate directly with native speakers of English, Chinese and Korean at our offices as needed, enabling accurate and stress-free communication.

In addition, we also have branches in the United States of America (Virginia) and the Republic of Korea (Seoul), conveniently located for our clients in these countries.
